Lien Centre & Facilitators Network Singapore present a Social Conversation on:
World Café on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Date: 28th January 2009
Time: 3.30-6pm
Venue: 5th floor Reading Room, Li Ka Shing Library, 70 Stamford Road, SMU (location map available here)
What is World Café?
As a conversational process , the World Café is an innovative yet simple methodology for hosting conversations about questions that matter. These conversations link and build on each other as people move between groups, cross-pollinate ideas, and discover new insights into the questions or issues that are most important in their life, work, or community.
CSR
CSR is the firm’s practices and policies that contribute to the well-being of the environment, economy and society. They address the needs of customers, suppliers, shareholders and employees, as well as those of government, the general public and the communities where the firm operates, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Synopsis
Join us as we create a participant-driven conversation around 3 central questions:
- What does the Asian version of CSR look like?
- How can groups outside the corporate sector move the CSR space forward?
• Where will the next transformation of CSR take place?
